Room volume = length × width × height; airflow = room volume × air changes per hour, divided by 60 for CFM in US units.
Assumptions & Scope
Well-mixed dilution ventilation at a user-selected ACH. Contaminant generation, capture velocity, make-up air, pressure balance, heat load, duct resistance, and code-required exhaust are excluded.
